描述
When I use EFI + CPU greater than 1 the client crashes with Guru Meditation (VINF_EM_TRIPLE_FAULT). From version 6.1.0 the issue starts to occur and is still present in version 6.1.4. In version 6.0.18- the error didnt't occur once.
I made a lot of tests so I claim the trigger for this error is EFI enabled + vCPU > 1.
This is also discussed in forum where I attached log files directly after crash in version 6.1.0. Do you need log files for 6.0.18 (latest working version) and 6.1.4 (latest failing version)?

I am facing a similar/same problem. In my case the it happens on startup only, I have tried changing just about any option, but I need to work in EFI mode. It is, however, intermittent, it happens just on about every other startup. When it fails, it usually works the second time.

Just wanted to sum up a few things:
When I use EFI + CPU greater than 1 the client crashes with Guru Meditation (VINF_EM_TRIPLE_FAULT). From version 6.1.0 the issue starts to occur and is still present in version 6.1.4. In version 6.0.18- the error didnt't occur once.
This is still true. I can confirm what DiDiDi says. Most of the time it occurs while booting sometimes it works sometimes not.
I want to add another factor in the equation. I noticed that switching from chipset ICH9 to P2X3 while vCPU > 1 and EFI enabled the machine runs stable so the correlation must be between vCPU > 1, EFI enabled and chipset=ICH9.
I also added an attachment with 3 Logs (2 old, which I already attached in forum [v6.1.0, v6.1.4 both with Guru error] and 1 new [v6.0.18 with no Guru error]) so they are at one place.
I forgot to say: In version 6.1.4 with EFI enabled and only 1 CPU the error didn't occur once.
The error occured mostly while booting into OS but also while restoring state or saving state of machine.
