描述
I have been able to get the person who has this issue to work around it.
One of our guys has an issue where if you close his laptop lid with virtualbox running it crashes and the vm goes into aborted state.
Via our helpdesk:-
"The instruction at 0x69866f99 referenced memory at 0x00000000. The memory could not be read. Click on OK to terminate the program"
Does not go away when disabling 3d accelleration

No, thank you. It would be more helpful if you could provide an application dump. Preferred method would be to use the process explorer to generate a full dump of the crashing process. Unfortunately I cannot provide you a server for uploading the dump. Perhaps you find one and can tell us the URL? Feel free to contact me by private email to provide the URL (frank _dot_ mehnert _at_ oracle _dot_ com).

Hi frank, sorry it took me so long to respond, I have been on holiday for the last 8 days. I'll get you that asap. The developer this laptop belongs to has it with him.

I analyzed dump and saw that it failed in guest VM inside of Intel Integrated Graphics driver (ig75icd64.sys) in a call from ATI Graphics driver (atig6pxx.sys). I saw that the Intel driver is relatively new, but ATI driver is an old one. So, please, renew Graphics drivers and check how it will work.

It appears that upgrading the ATI driver has cured the issue. I am sorry for wasting any time.

Hello again. I am afraid this issue still persists. It seems to happen pretty infrequently now but it still happens. I updated this laptops drivers to the latest that were available from Dell.
I cannot update them to the latest from ATIs website because it does not function properly, it need to come from the OEM. I would also like to point out that this is happening on two laptops now, not just this one. They are both Dell Latitude E6540s.
I am sending you another dmp file to your email.
I have a "hardening" log as well, do you need it?
