Allow mounting host folders as guest disks

Hi!

I am a VB newbie, so please don't be mad at me if this RFE is totally stupid or worse - a duplicate (I tried to search in your database for similar report, with no success).

I would like to see following feature: Allow VB users to mount a host folder as a guest HDD. Simply, you would go to the dialog where you would select a folder from the host PC and it would be detected by the quest OS as a newly connected hard drive...

I believe this feature would make file sharing much easier.

Actually this isn't easy to implement (if possible at all). Shared folders are available for all major guests we support and if that does not work then you can still use Samba/CIFS or NFS to share your host files with the guest.
