5 | | *and enable USB 3 (for new USB 3 devices) in settings of virtual box [ under ports - usb ] . there you should c 3 entries for USB (1, 2 & 3) |
6 | | *in that same section - look at the filters section. this is essentially telling what usb devices to start with your vm. & just choose your usb device |
7 | | *then start your vm. |
