Please add an option to set Guest time to a fixed value at startup. This is a feature for repeatable software tests.

The biossystemtimeoffset is an inconvenient but possible workaround. It requires to compute a new offset before every start.

See topic Data in guest and host for a background discussion. ghr pointed out that installing GA cancels out any biossystemtimeoffset parameter setting. Looking at the code for vboxadd-timesync.c and VBoxDev.cpp, the vmmdevTimesyncBackdoorRead just picks up host system time without applying the time offset stored in the BIOS. This isn't a feature enhancement. Surely this is a bug.

There is a -biossystemtimeoffset option in VBoxManage that should do the trick too.
