描述 (由 Frank Mehnert 作最後更新)

VirtualBox 3.0.12 crashes on a Windows XP host (Ubuntu 9.10 guest) after installing Guest Additions. The crash seems to be caused by the Intel graphics drivers (specifically, module ig4icd32.dll) version 6.14.10.5160. Possibly some conflict with 3D support for the guest as all was OK before the installation of guest additions.

See this link: http://forums.virtualbox.org/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=24785 Rolling back the Intel drivers to an older version seems to help on some platforms.

See also: http://www.processlibrary.com/directory/files/ig4icd32/ This module seems to have to do with OpenGL.

My graphics card is a 4500MHD.

  1. Please provide VBox Log
  1. What happens if you disable 3D acceleration ? (in VBox GUI)

There are no problems if 3D acceleration is disabled. Guest OS boots and works well.

VBox log is attached (for the instance where crash occurred, i.e., with 3D acceleration enabled).

OK, so the Component: must be "3D support", not "GUI". GUI = VirtualBox Control Panel of the virtualizer.

I saw somewhere a related bug about Intel Graphics chipset.

My bad - you are correct. Is it possible to change the component or should I file a new report with all relevant info?
