freebsd slow time

I'm running freebsx 8.1 guest (64) on my laptop (linux 64, amd x2).. and time in guest very slow

What a host Linux kernel is that, vanilla or is that kernel somehow patched? There was a change in 2.6.31 which requires an adaption of the Linux host kernel module. If this adaption is not available then symptoms you described may occur. Could you upgrade to 3.0.14 and check if this fixes your problem? Alternatively you could apply r27194 + r27196 manually and recompile + reload your host kernel modules.
