描述 (由 作最後更新)
VMware's VMware Player will run 64 bit guests on a 32 bit Host without hardware virtualization. Yet, VirtualBox is much easier to use and has given me a better experience. It would be great if this could be added, but maybe as a feature that is not default.
Note: I do have a 64 bit capable processor, but I do NOT have Hardware Assisted Virtualization.
System:
Total amount of system memory 2.00 GB RAM
System type 32-bit operating system Number of processor cores 1 64-bit capable Yes

Very unlikely that we will implement this mode. Sorry, but the most 64-bit capable processors have VT-x or AMD-V available and covering the remaining broken Intel processors is too much effort for our limited ressources.

Replying to frank:
broken Intel processors
Actually, I have an AMD, sadly. But maybe I can work with the source code (I am a developer) , and I can Implement it (probably won't be able to: I'll have to research on how this is done.) Then I'll comment back here.

Well, then you have an older AMD processor. All recent AMD processors which are capable of 64-bit are also capable of AMD-V. Which processor is it (out of interest)?

I have the AMD Sempron. Y'know, the only (as far as I know) one that is 64 bit capable, but does't have AMD-V. One step up, and I could have gotten it =). Actually, my computer isn't that old. I was just ripped off by getting an AMD.
I believe that this method is called Binary Translation (correct me if I'm wrong)
